Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos
Robot vacuums and mops are increasingly capable, acing our tests of cleaning and tackling a variety of floor types. Choose models that permit you to select between a variety of types, including self-emptying and clean stairs.
A lot of the top models are compatible with smartphones. Check for an app that allows you to save maps, create schedules, and choose cleaning modes.
1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
Eufy's gunmetal and gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive robot vacuums and mop combos available on the market. It makes use of lidar to navigate, create maps of rooms and floors (even multiple levels) and is compatible with the free Eufy Clean app that lets you set schedules and customize the S1's behaviour.
When I tried the S1, it was quick to map the downstairs area, which has Linoleum flooring in the kitchen/dining room and bathrooms, as well as carpeting with a medium-pile and an area rug. It easily drove close to walls without colliding with them, and even managed to drive across thresholds that were raised in the room without issue, though it occasionally had trouble navigating down stairs in a single pass. The S1 also did an excellent job cleaning hard floors with its mop that moved smoothly on the flat side against the floor, and then lifting itself when it was near carpet or rugs.
The docking station of the S1 automatically emptys its trash bin and fills its water tank onboard with clean, ozonated waters prior to every mopping session. The dock provides a deep-cleaning solution to the water. The S1 water tank is able to hold up to 12 mopping sessions, however it will differ depending on the frequency you use the mop.
Like all 2-in-1 robots the S1 requires regular maintenance to keep it working well. To do this, you'll need to rinse out the dirty water tank regularly to keep it from becoming clogged. Also, you'll need to clean the swivel wheels and sensors frequently to avoid them from getting blocked by dust or dirt. Overall the S1 requires less maintenance than other combos.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
Ecovacs All-in-one robotic vacuum and mop is a powerful solution to your cleaning needs. The robot vacuum has 8700Pa of suction power and comes with a variety of advanced features like voice control and smart path planning that cleans furniture and avoids obstacles. The mopping feature is impressive, with rotating mops that actually lift and scrub the floor as opposed to just dragging the pad across it. The mops can also be dried and cleaned at the base station, if required.
This robot combo has a simple interface that guides you throughout the process. It includes a rechargeable hand vacuum for those hard-to-reach areas that the robot can't reach as well as two water tanks that are automatically empty and filled whenever required. It has a variety of settings that can be used to fine-tune your cleaning preferences.

The Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a good vacuum cleaner. It has a strong suction which can easily remove dirt and other debris that other robots have difficulty with. Its navigation abilities are also pretty good, although it can be stuck on small mats and rugs in my home (which you can alleviate by creating virtual boundaries in the app). Its mopping is quite good as well, with two spinning mop pads that actually lift and scrub the floors, as opposed to simply dragging the pad across it. The mops are cleaned using heated water and dried in the base station when needed. Mops are also refilled from the top of the base station when needed.
3. Dreame X40 Ultra
Dreame released the luxe X30 Ultra earlier this year, but their new flagship model of robot mop and vacuum has more impressive features. It has fantastic cleaning results, and it is easy to maintain. This makes it a worthy contender for our list of the top robot vacuums and mop. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart detection and an extended side brush ensure that a thorough, customized clean is accomplished.
The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming, picking up fine and large debris from hard floors as well as carpets. It was able to clean the dirtiest areas of our tests with ease, avoiding pet hairs and other mess. The sweeping capability of the machine is enhanced by a sidebrush that automatically extends to reach areas that are difficult to reach, and mop pads that run across baseboards.
Its navigation is intelligent that can navigate narrow spaces and negotiating stairways without skipping a step. It can move from one room to another without reversing direction which is a great feature for larger homes with multiple rooms. Its obstacle avoidance system is less advanced than its competitors however, and tends to leave a wide space around obstacles, which could result in missed spots.
The app features a simple user interface that is designed to be user-friendly for both new and experienced users. The app lets you schedule and manage cleaning tasks. You can also alter suction power, mop setting as well as view 3-D and 2D maps. It can be controlled via the app, Alexa or Google Assistant. You can also use the X40 Ultra's camera remotely, for real-time video monitoring. But, you'll need a stable Wi-Fi connection in order to operate it via the app as well as external controls.
4. Roomba Q5 pro
A robot vacuum does an excellent job of picking up debris and dirt but it's not always able to reach every last piece of dust. This is why it's important to use your regular vacuum at least once every week, and especially to clean dust from corners and on shelves and in the crevices of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro, a 2-in-1 robot that both vacuums and mop, is made to do just that. It's easy to connect it to your home Wi-Fi network and is compatible with Alexa and Apple Siri, making it an even more useful addition to your cleaning routine.
The Q5 is a stripped-down version of the company's expensive S-series models. It includes the top-of-the-line Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. It has the same LIDAR mapping sensor, but it saves cost by eliminating the mopping functionality and by using a cheaper plastic body.
Even though it's not able to mop floors, the Q5 offers the best mopping and vacuum performance we've seen from a robot in this price range. It has a suction power of 5500Pa, and an automatic empty system that means you don't have to empty the bin manually every time. It also has a clever application that lets you choose your floor's type and schedule cleanings. It also has an automatic water tank refill and wash system for hands-free operation.
Its mops also impress with its 2700Pa capacity to combat pet hair and dirt on carpets and hard flooring. The Q5 was one of the few robots that we tested did not show a problem with high-pile area rugs and carpets. However, helpful resources was able to not pick up kitty-litter or cable tangles. This isn't too surprising, since it does NOT include AI-powered obstacle-avoidance.
5. K10 Plus
K10 Plus is the quietest robovac we have ever tested. It also uses a unique mapping system that helps it reach corners and tight places that other vacuums can't. The K10 Plus also is able to collect more dust in a larger bin, so you don't need to empty it as frequently. It also has washable filters which can further cut costs. The robot can recognize carpets, and increase suction if needed. You can also mark areas you want the robot to avoid using the app.
